Designing flowers comes from my heart. Each piece I create is made with love.  Whatever the occasion is, I try to reflect the personality of my customer or their loved one.  

     I have had a passion for flowers and creating with them since I was a little girl.  My father loved to tell the story of when I would pick field flowers and keep them in coffee cans and pretend our well house was my flower shop.  Growing up, I was an active member of Gratiot County 4-H and attended MSU 4-H Exploration Days where I would take part in every florticulture class that was offered.  During high school I enrolled in  the Interior Design Class through the area vocational center.  Then my senior year found me employed at Heritage Flowers in Breckenridge as a co-op student and earning my FFA State Proficiency award in Floriculture. 

     My passion of flowers and making others happy with them led me to owning my own business for a few years.  However after going through some life changes, I took a different career path and entered employment at Ithaca Public Schools.  After 14 years of working in school transportation and only doing flowers part time,  I made the decision to go back in to the flower business full time. 

     With the encouragement and support from my family, I am now back to doing what I love everyday right from my home based flower studio.
